THEATRE/FILM

Underworld

In 2020 Erin completed her first full length musical, Underworld. She wrote the book and composed all of the music, which is scored for piano, voice, and a small chamber ensemble. You can listen to the full score HERE! Below is a brief synapsis:

The inhabitants of Mount Olympus are going about their daily lives:  Hades is lonely, Persephone is

filled with teen angst, Demeter is a frustrated single mother, Zeus incessantly messes with mortals

because he is bored out of his mind, and Echo just can’t shut up.  Suddenly, everyone’s worlds, gods

and mortals alike, are turned upside down when Zeus and Hades conspire to bring Persephone to the

Underworld.  In an upwelling of maternal grief, Demeter forces everyone to confront their deepest

fears, confess their most passionate feelings, and in some cases, face their own mortality.

Ferndale: A Horror Comedy in Two Acts

William Ainsworth, a teenager living in a small town in the Midwest, finds that his life is horror story. Actually, it is more like several horror stories. This horror/comedy interweaves five public domain tales of terror as it tells about the lives of the inhabitants of this quaint town. If you enjoy witches who curse livestock, scarecrows who consume school bullies, deceased people who haunt the living looking for their missing internal organs, and a girlfriend whose head is loosely tied on by a mysterious green ribbon, this is the play for you.

Rumpelstiltskin in Twenty
